A Traditional Halloween Menu
Halloween is not just a time of year for scaring the kiddies, trick-or-treating and telling ghost stories. It is also the time of year that sees the coming briskness of autumn as well as the abundance of the harvest. Foods at this time of year begin to move from the light and crisp to the wholesome and substantial. To stay in line with this tradition try out the menu below, it includes old favorites, but made up in new ways to amaze your guests.
Beef in a Costume was developed in our kitchens and makes some original use of a staple of the harvest, the acorn squash.
