Carrots and Peas
You can definitely get too fancy with vegetables. When you are preparing a good size meal for company, you want a simple vegetable that complements the main course, but can also be whipped together in a manner of minutes.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb bag baby carrots
1/2 lb bag frozen peas
3 sprigs of fresh parsley
1 diced medium onion
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
This recipe can be done in a steamer or a microwave. Heat each item (except the parsley and butter) separately to make sure it is at desired tenderness. Mix and heat together just before serving. Dollop on butter and arrange parsley.
