Pepperoni Chicken Pasta Bows
Here is a nice, simple recipe for pasta lovers who want a tasty dish in their arsenal of recipes for a busy life-style. This one is from Kat Walk Kimberly.
Preparation time is 10 minutes. Cooking time is 25 minutes.
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced pepperoni
1 lb boneless chicken breasts (cut into thin strips)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 large sweet red or yellow pepper,cut into think strips
1 jar 750ml Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 pepper
1 lb box of bow ties
Using 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan, warm up the pan. Fry one pound of boneless chicken breasts (cut into thin strips). Add one cup sliced mushrooms, a large sweet red or yellow pepper also cut into thin strips plus the pepperoni. Add 1/2 teaspoon basil, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and a healthy dash of pepper. When chicken has cooked through, add the pasta sauce. When sauce is close to bing done, cook the bow ties. Add to mixture and serve!
